The Topo Athletic Ultraventure 4 retains the famous ZipFoam™ midsole keeping it responsive and lightweight. You can rely on the Vibram® XS Trek EVO Outsole to keep your foot secure on loose terrain and transition smoothly over hard surfaces. The biggest complaint about the previous edition was the durability of the upper from runners, thru-hikers on the Colorado Trail and Continental Divide Trail on technical terrain. Topo has retained a lightweight and breathable recycled mesh upper but placed polyurethane on overlays critical areas to prevent rips and tears in the mesh. Topo has done what most brands refuse to do by keeping everything that was good about Women's Topo Ultraventure and simply updating the mesh that users were critical about.
